This recipe makes 2 cups of a comforting and very sweet hot chocolate, flavored with Baileys.
Recipe for 2 cups of hot chocolate
Required accessories:
Bowl or cul-de-poule
Hand whisk
Ingredients:
340 ml of whole milk
40 ml of 35% cream
40 g of 58% semi-bitter Cacao-Barry couverture chocolate in pastilles*
40 g of Callebaut milk chocolate in pastilles*
30 ml of Baileys liqueur
Chocolate chips
Preparation:
Place chocolate in a bowl;
Bring milk and cream to a boil in a microwave or saucepan;
Pour a little hot liquid over the chocolate and mix with a whisk to obtain a homogeneous semi-liquid paste;
Stir in remaining hot liquid and Baileys;
Whisk the mixture until foamy and pour into cups;
Decorate with dark chocolate shavings*
